Most people do not spend enough time practicing their putting, instead spending a majority of their time on the practice range hitting drivers and irons. Putting is the most important part of the game since it is done on every hole and ultimately decides the score that a person shoots.

One of the main problems with putting is that many golfers often under read the break of the greens, leading them to miss the hole on the low side of the cup. This precludes the ball from ever having a chance to go into the hole. A golf tip that may help to prevent this is to read more break into the putt than normal. But following this golf tip, golfers are sure to make more putts when it counts.

Bunker is another name for the sand traps that are plastered all over fairways in today’s age of obstacle-heavy golf courses. Bunkers are large pits that are filled with sand to catch mis-hit balls. If your ball lands in the bunker, you will not be able to hit the ball nearly as well from the sand as you can if your ball in on the nice smooth grass. Bunkers are designed to penalize players who cannot accurately place their shot, and many times, courses will place bunkers around the greens to reward accuracy and punish inconsistent shots. Be sure to avoid hitting your ball into a bunker because it will make it much harder to play the shot from the sand.

Tiger Woods is the best golfer on planet earth. He has also written the best golf book in history. That might be a little bit of an exaggeration, but Tiger Woods has once again done something excellent. If you thought all that Tiger could do was hit greens and bust it down the middle of U.S. Open fairways, you were mistaken. He has also taken the time to give out golfing advice in what some people are calling the best golf book of the year.

“How I Play Golf” is the name of the book, and it seeks to help people understand just what Tiger does when he gets out on the course. It is no secret that Tiger does things on the course that most men aren’t capable of. What you should know about this book is that Tiger genuinely tries to impart some of his well-grounded wisdom into players who just want to take a different approach on the course.
